From July 17 to 20, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance convened in Shanghai. Under the theme "Intelligent Partners, Creating the Future Together," the event hosted over 140 thematic forums, bringing together more than 1,400 official representatives, industry leaders, scholars, and experts from over 100 countries and international organizations along the Huangpu River.
