The Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held on May 14h and 15th 2017 in Beijing. and a roundtable summit was hosted at Yanqi Lake International Convention Center. Guests come from over 130 countries and 70 international organizations including 29 heads of state and government as well as heads of the UN, World Bank, and International Monetary Fund, while Chinese President attended the forum and chaired the Leaders Roundtable Summit. TAIDEN once again accompanied heads and leaders in the spotlight by providing over 7200 pieces of infrared language receivers, 170 pieces of interpreter units and around 200 discussion units to cover the 27 venues of this grand forum.
The opening ceremony and high level meetings including a plenary session and six parallel panel discussions was hosted at China National Convention Center. At the opening ceremony, 1500 registered delegates from 130 countries are provided with a 19-channel (floor+18) language interpretation service, breaking the record of simultaneous interpretation channels provided at international congresses held in China. The Leaders Roundtable Summit of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held on May 15th in Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention Center. Chinese President with 29 heads of state and government, as well as UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, and Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde, attended the Summit. A joint communique was issued after the summit.
