TAIDEN Paperless Multimedia Congress System Equips the OPCW Headquarters

Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), founded in 1997 for eliminating chemical weapons all over the world, is headquartered in The Hague, the Netherlands. Its member states total 190 at the moment, covering 98% of the world population and land. The OPCW headquarters decided to equip its main venue with TAIDENs Paperless Multimedia Congress System, and the project has now been accomplished and passed commissioning.

The main venue, with its amphitheater structure, employs 80 units of the HCS-8318 Paperless Multimedia Congress System, while the meeting rooms on the second floor are equipped with 6 interpreter booths, including 16 HCS-4385U/50 Fully Digital Congress System Interpreter Units which cover Arabian, Chinese, English, Spanish, French and Russian. Besides, a set of video tracking matrix has been installed to automatically track the contribution units turned on, and two HCS-8300MOD audio output devices of 8 channels provide high quality audio output signals for the media and recording devices. Whats more, technologies including dual system main unit hot spare and dual backup power supply have been applied.

After its installations in prestigious venues in Europe including the Palazzo Lombardia of Lombardy Region in Italy and the United Nations Office at Geneva, TAIDEN made a further step and accomplished the big project at OPCW.
