TAIDEN Conference System at the 17th Ibero-American Summit

The 17th Ibero-American Summit was held from November 8th to 10th, 2007 in Santiago, Chile. Heads of State from 22 Ibero-American States such as Spain, Chile, Brazil and Mexico attended the Summit. TAIDEN Conference System and Simultaneous Interpretation System were in use during the Summit.

The Iberoamerican Community of Nations consists of 19 Spanish-speaking and Portuguese-speaking nations of the Americas and Spain, Portugal and Andorra of the Iberian Peninsula in Europe. The yearly summit was proposed by the King of Spain - Juan Carlos. The discussions on the summit revolve around Politics, Economy, Community and Culture. The first Ibero-American Summit was held in 1991 in Mexico.
